Many people enjoy hiking to Lake Agnes, but few continue on to the Little Beehive, a small mountain behind and above Lake Agnes with great views and this letterbox.
Directions:
From Lake Louise drive to Chateau Lake Louise and park in lot.
Clues:
Walk on the lakeshore trail past the Chateau and go right and up on the Lake Agnes Trail all the way to the lake and teahouse. Find the trail to Little Beehive at the shore of Lake Agnes just behind the tea house and go on it to the top to a sign describing the view. From sign go left 10 steps to medium Larch tree, then 3 more steps to another one in front of cut logs. LB is at back base under a rock and needles. Be discreet and replace as described.
