Difficulty: Easy
Distance to Letterbox: 100 yards
The "Rewired" letterbox was originally planned for placement in Oklahoma, during a Christian Men's conference, but could not find good place to hide in limited time I had. So, it went along with us to UTAH and found a home at one of favorite places. Slot Canyon Inn is a great place to stay and eat. So if you are ever near Bryce Canyon NP, stay here instead!!!
Directions: Coming from Bryce on Hwy 12 to almost Escalante (East), look for Mile marker 54. Soon after, turn left at sign for North Creek Lakes. Take first turn to right for Slot Canyon Inn and drive up to the Inn. Turn left at "check in" sign, then left again at "office" sign and go up the hill until you see sign on left for "The Dig". Park on right in open area.
To the Letterbox:
Walk up the trail to the rock wall (go to lodge for details on the dig). Go left along wall, then left again on faint trail that goes around a rock pile, circling right into the middle of those rocks. Look left for bush (holly type). Box is on back side under a flat 12 inch rock.
