Bring a red stamp pad and a black marker.
• Park in the Cudahy Family Library parking lot under the beautiful blue and white Cudahy water tower. Enter the main doors walking past the Cudahy Family Library sign. Notice the modern green building.
• Turn left at the “Welcome to the Cudahy Family Library” map. Pass through the metal detectors. If you are interested take a look at the Cudahy family photos near the circulation desk. After reading about this locally famous family turn around (face the metal detectors) and enter the Children’s Library section to the right of the circulation desk.
• Stop immediately. Look up and to the left for the official name of the children’s library. From the first “a” in the name walk 11 steps to the bubbler (this is Milwaukee slang that you may need to look up if you are from outside of the area).
• Turn right to face the lion who needs a library card. Walk 17 steps. You will see the poster “Reading is Believing” if you look toward the far right wall.
• Turn left to walk 13 steps to the last computer table. Turn left to face “Maisy Mouse Read to Me” poster straight ahead. Walk to the end of the children’s librarian’s desk on the right. Turn right towards the windows and the children’s play area.
• Walk to the end of the bookshelves. Turn left and walk (be careful of extended bookshelves) to the last bookshelf. Turn left again. Go to the end of the aisle. The bug you seek is hiding between the shelves at the bottom of section St- Z.
• Please stamp discreetly and rehide box in its original location hidden from view.
