Margaret Hamilton was best known for her role as “The Wicked Witch of the West” in “The Wizard of Oz”. She made her home in Amenia New York. This box is a tribute to her.
Find your way to South Amenia Union Cemetery on Rt 2 in New York. There is another Amenia Union Cemetery up the road a piece in Connecticut. You want the NY one.
Drive straight in to the back and park by the big tree. Walk along the wall to the right for 2 more big trees. Turn to the wall and look in the bottom. Please be careful of the wall. You should only have to remove one loose stone. Please replace same way.
