Start by visiting the Children's Garden at Ft. Williams Park.
From the stepping stones on the pond, look toward the ocean. You will see the old brick fire barn on the left, go toward it.
As you approach, you will see a group of boulders to the left. Walk through--three on the left, one on the right. Follow the path to the roof of the fort and enjoy the view.
Turn to leave the way you came. Before your feet leave the roof of the fort, look to your right. The letterbox is beneath a bush, tucked in a notch, under some leaves.
