As you're headed to Lucerne, take a right to the Linwood bay historical outlook. Read about the history of Linwood Bay. I own a house that was moved from Linwood Bay to the town of Manila! After reading about this town that is now under water, Turn around and look at the large rock (small mountain?) behind you. Climb the steep revine veering off to the right side as if you were going around it. But before you go around, there will be a smooth rock on your left that stretches upwards, near the top of that rock, off to the left, the letter box is in a hole behind some rocks. Little bit of climbing, slippery slopes, caution for glass and cactus!
