Distance to Letterbox: 200 yards
This box is located along the river just south of Jasper townsite. It can be accessed from the road, or from the lodge area as described below.
Directions:
Going north on Hwy 93, turn right on Hwy 93A. Just after crossing the Miette River (you could park hear and walk on trail east along river to get the box), turn right into Tekarra Lodge. Pass entry, then find the restaurant. Go right and park on left across from cabin #3.
To the Letterbox:
Walk toward the Athabasca River (away from cabin #3), passing fire ring, to wooden sign showing the mountain peaks. Go left along the river on trail for 100 steps. Go left off trail 15 yards to the sole huge pine tree. Box is on back side under 6" rock.
