From the parking lot, take the dirt road near the kiosk and through the orange gate heading left onto the Porcupine trail. Turn left after about a mile of walking. Go downhill on the well marked Harrington trail. The ground will flatten after a stream where the trail bends left. (Hint: Look right at an old woodpecker eaten log with a stand of pines in the background. What did you find?). Continue along your way, turning left again at the boulder in the middle of the trail. Carefully go over a bridge and the trail turns sharp right. At the next sharp left, STOP! Look right for a pair of granite standing pillars hidden off trail. Stand in front of them with the river in the background. Head northeast 14 steps to a jutting stone and then due east from there to the foot of a tilted birch with a sidekick standing oak. At the foot and between is the box. Please recover debris before replacing the rock to preserve the box. Please bring brown as it seems to impress well.
Return to the trail continuing onward with trees lining the trail, then stone walls will escort you eventually to a foundation. Finally up and down for a bit arriving at the dirt road once more and to your car. Be sure to check for other boxes in the area.
