Start at the South side of Southeast Branch of Maricopa library at the trailhead in front of the dumpsters.
Follow the path to the Community Lake sign. Take a right at the fork. Follow the path past 6 light poles to the right. You will now see a butterfly to your left. Keep going past 3 more light poles on the right. On the right is an opening to the right, a trash can and an entrance to bird park. Stop continue on path. Start looking left for a big interlocking tree at the first opening. It is interlocked in a tree.
