Drive to Veterans Park in Brighton, Colorado (405 W Bridge St, Brighton, CO 80601) and park in the parking lot. Take the trail to the southwest towards the river. Follow the trail under the bridge. After you go under the bridge, locate the first tree to the left (approximately 35 feet from the trail). There is a hollow stump on the back side of the tree where you will find my treasure. While you are here, there are lots of flat stones that are great for skipping across the river.
