Park at 20 Boardman Street, Prospect CT
Begin at the signboard for Kathan Woods. Follow yellow/blue until blue splits off left, continue on blue. At the top of Bluff Head, the trail takes a 90 degree right turn. There was a bench there at the high point today and it was nice to take a seat. From the bench (or the right turn if the bench goes away) there is a thigh high boulder, three or four feet long, in front of a two sister tree with a third sister trying to join. It's about 17 steps from the bench. On the far side of the boulder is your Duc.
Hike length: 1-2 miles
