Difficulty: Moderate
Distance to Letterbox: 5.6 miles round trip
Located near Bow Glacier Falls, a hike from Bow Lake. Great hike.
Directions:
From Lake Louise, go north on Hwy 1, then soon turn right onto Hwy 93 heading for Jasper. When reach Bow Lake viewpoint on left, stop and take pictures. See red topped building on right of lake. Get back on Hwy 93 and go to turn on left to Num Ti Jah, and go to parking near red roofs. Park where you can.
To the Letterbox:
Walk to the Num Ti Jaw Lodge. Find trailhead to left and take it to Bow Glacier Falls. Once you get close to base of waterfall, look right for where slope of mountain start to go up and brush line ends, and find huge square boulder. Now look right of that and lower for large triangle boulder about 40 yards away. Go to that boulder. Once there, look on upper side in brush for rock pile. Box under rock pile.
Hike length: 5-8 miles
