Part of my Beer Series
Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 200 yards RT)
Hell or High Water Brewing in the heart of historic downtown focuses on traditional style beers while also featuring guest taps from other local breweries. So come try a few after finding this letterbox at nearby River Ranch County Park.
Directions:
For the Brewery, go to 931 Texas 332 Loop (Main St). For the letterbox, go south on CR 279 for about 2 miles, then right on Reveille Way to River Ranch County Park. Go past Headquarters parking to first parking area on right (Trailhead Parking East) and park.
Clues:
Walk to far end of lot to sign showing trail "A" with arrows pointing left and straight. Go straight on it as it bends right under Porcupine Hill to green sign on left saying "Prickly Pear Cactus". Go behind sign 10 steps to back of cedar tree with LB within its trunks 1' high under rocks & needles.
