Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 200 yards RT)
Barbara Billingsley was an American actress born in Los Angeles on December 22, 1915. She began her career with several small parts but gained prominence for her best-known role of June Cleaver, the mother in the television series Leave It to Beaver (1957–1963). I grew up watching this show and she was like my TV mom during this time. She later appeared as the "Jive Lady" in Airplane! (1980), and her final film role was as Aunt Martha in the 1997 film version of Leave It to Beaver. She died on October 16, 2010, and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery where this box is located.
Directions:
Go to Woodlawn Cemetery at 1817 14th st. near Pico Blvd and enter main gate, parking near the Mausoleum before road turns left in front of it.
Clues:
Walk to start of sidewalk on right side of Mausoleum and go right 70 steps across cemetery toward fence along Pico Blvd. Find raised stone for Mortensen and Barbara will be next to it on right with small, flat marker. Continue to fence and go left to where a low brick divider joins it from the left and ivy grows next to a stone pillar. Reach around it within ivy for LB under a large rock. Please be discreet. NOTE: I hid another box here with it (Santa Monica Brew Works) since I couldn't find a suitable place for it, so you get two for one.
