Terrain Difficulty: Easy (slight slope, 2.6 km RT)

The Wild Pacific Trail is an 8 km trail system skirting the rugged cliffs and shoreline of the west coast of Vancouver Island. Overlooking Barkley Sound and the Broken Group Islands to the east and the open Pacific Ocean to the south and west, it offers spectacular shoreline panoramas and seaward vistas. There are several sections you can hike, but this box can be found on the Lighthouse Loop Section.

Directions:
Drive east on Peninsula Rd then south on Coast Guard Rd to first parking lot (Whale lot) on left.

Clues:
Find kiosk with map for start of trail and go right (clockwise) on it to 0.5 km sign. Continue a short way to elevated bench on right with plaque saying "Gee's Gee's Bench" with large tree a few steps behind it. LB is at back base about 1 meter high under rocks & needles.
