Start in the parking lot of Talbot's Wildlife Management area on Bass Road in Scotland.
Take the trail past the green gate. Scamper down the pebbly hill and keep going along the old field with two lonely telephone poles. Continue past the abandoned shed and the giant maple. Soon you will turn a bend to the right and come to a wooden foot bridge. You may see Friendly Fox's prints in the mud. Cross the bridge, turning left and staying on the main path along a stone wall. You will be walking along Merrick brook and may want to stop to enjoy the view. After you pass by a field visible through the woods on your right, look for the tree with a yellow ring. 6 paces from that tree you will find my den, ground level below the fox colored round stone. Please be mindful and respect the integrity of this boundary wall, staying on the state property side. You can access my den without moving any rocks, don't be afraid to reach deep in, I don't bite !
Leave your stamp and a note in our book and take a sticker if you wish.
Spread Kindness,
The Hedgehaugs <3
P.S.- we still have to add a stamp pad to the letterbox so bring your own in the meantime
