John Wilson Hudson was an American professional baseball player, manager and scout who appeared in 426 Major League Baseball games as an infielder for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Chicago Cubs and New York Giants from 1936 to 1941 and in 1945. Altogether, he collected 283 big-league hits during all or parts of seven seasons, with 50 doubles, 11 triples and four home runs. He is buried in Bryan City Cemetery where you can find this box in block 7.
Directions:
Go to Bryan City Cemetery at 1111 North Texas Ave and park at the office near the entrance next to sign with map of cemetery. Look at the map to get your bearings, then go east along southern edge of cemetery to far side of block 7, turn left and park at jct with road coming from right and sign for block 17 across from you.
Clues:
Walk west into block 7 to Hudson stone, then continue past it 22 steps to Ramsey stone flat on ground near a large pine tree on left. Go right 7 steps to multi-trunk cedar tree with LB within trunks under a rock & needles. Be sure to also look for Kinderhill Brew Lab box nearby.
