You want to enter Quaddick State Park and turn to the left. Either park in the parking lot (if it's busy) or go throught the parking lot and turn right up to the picnic pavillion. Either way you want to start at the pavillion.

Start with your back to the pavillion looking across the loop in the road. Cross the road to the small open field. On the right hand side of the field there are 2 picnic tables. Walk past these and turn right onto the red trail. Follow the trail a short ways to a dead fallen tree on your right. About 3/4 of the way to the top of the tree you will find April Showers #1 in the rotted trunk.

Continue on the red trail over a small brook and through a rocky area. Pass through the baby pine grove and down a small hill and you will turn towards the pond. You will come to where there is a rock on each side of the path and a small path on your left. Check out the split apart rock for April Showers #2.

You will continue on the red trail as it hooks around to the right and follows the pond. Cross over a stone "bridge" and notice a stone wall on the right. Stop at the next tree with a red blaze. From this tree take a compass reading of 77* and find #3 under the rock overhang.

Continue on the trail along the pond, you will pass a stump on the right. Just after the small clearing with a picnic table notice the fallen tree on your right. Look under the short piece for #4.

Continue on through a larger clearing and you will see the pavillion up above you on the right. Continue on the red trail and cross over the road. Back into the woods you will pass the restrooms on your left and some cut up pieces of wood. At the 4 way crossing, just before the huge pine tree, go right up the path. Go up the hill to the stone wall. In the white house behind the stone door find #5.

Go back down to the red trail and continue on. You will go up the hill and soon come to a picnic table and a BBQ grill. Stand between these and take a compass reading of 125* and go approx. 57 feet to #6.

Cross the road and continue on the trail. Cross over a tiny dry (maybe wet) stream and go up hill. At the road go to the big rock and take a reading of 80* and go 50 feet to the leaning tree for #7.
