In the News...

Hikers search for letterboxes and find a giant beehive instead! Today while walking along a gravel path, our three boxers were reciting poetry. In the distance they heard a loud humming sound. Momentarily forgetting their poetical notions for things were truely a-buzz, they headed down a second grass path on the right. At two arrowed signs they realized the sound was coming from the right. They came to the foot of some 'steps' near the edge of the woods. Here they spotted a giant beehive about 15 feet high.(Originally a recycled pile of stacked newspapers that looked like a hive. Unfortunately, rain and snow got the better part of it and it was burned down).

Clues: Walk to the middle of the bridge and site 265* to a 'tree hive' near the top of the hill. You will need to double back on the trail and head for this tree. Behind this tree is a split ledge in the ground. Herein lies the box with a new stamp image. Please cover well with debris rock and debris.

They all stamped in and went to find 3 other boxes that same day! And for fun they continued speaking poetically while walking on their way...

Letterboxing Poetry Just for Fun

Behind every story
Good and bad
Is a letterbox
Waiting to be had!

You'll find this stacked very high
And might even say "My-my"
Black and white...
For most it comes daily
Chick-a-Birdie, Chuck and Molly
They were in one by golly
Maybe not within this pile
But what I saw of both made me smile.

How's that? :)
